A 27-acre mixed use Central development amounting to $2.5 Billion is being built according to a The Dallas Morning News article. They say,
“A $2.5 billion development that has just broken ground north of downtown Dallas will include an office building along with an apartment tower.
The 27-acre mixed-use Central development is being built on U.S. Highway 75 at Haskell Street. A project of De La Vega Development, The Central is one of the largest such projects in Dallas and is planned for up to 4 million square feet of office, residential, and retail space, along with a large central park.”
A developer from Japan has partnered up with StreetLights Residential according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,
“Japan’s largest real estate development firm is partnering with a Dallas builder on the first phase of the $2.5 billion The Central project under construction near downtown.
Toyko-based Mitsui Fudosan Co.’s American subsidiary is teaming up with Dallas’ StreetLights Residential to build the residential high-rise at the northeast corner of U.S. Highway 75 and Haskell Avenue.”
The high-rise apartment project is slated to open in 2025. The tower will have a tenant lounge, a dog park, pool lounge, and a fitness center.
