Free GED Prep Courses to Return Courtesy of Frisco ISD

General Education Development will be provided back to the community, thanks to FISD and AEL according to a Frisco Enterprise article from September 29. They say, 

“On Monday, Frisco ISD announced its partnership with Collin County Adult Education and Literacy (AEL), coordinated through Grayson College, to offer free high school equivalency test preparation classes. 

The classes come at no cost to attendees or to the district. The Collin County AEL program is funded through the Texas Workforce Commission.

However, GED prep courses are not the only new item to be provided to the Frisco Community according to a Dallas Morning News article from September 29. 

“In addition to GED prep courses taught in English, residents in Frisco ISD can also take GED prep classes in Spanish, English as a Second Language classes and citizenship classes through Collin Adult Education and Literacy, according to the release. The district said in the release that those classes will take place on varying times and days, both online and in person at locations outside Frisco ISD.”
