The Jonas Brothers will be performing at the Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff halftime show of the Giants-Cowboys game in the AT&T Stadium according to an NBC Sports article which reports,
“The Jonas Brothers will be performing live at AT&T Stadium this Thanksgiving at the Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the New York Giants, the band announced on Tuesday.
This isn’t the first time the Jonas Brothers have performed during the Thanksgiving Halftime Show. The band last performed for the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day show in 2008 – the final season of Texas Stadium in Irving. And now, they will return for a second time.”
Even if it is the Cowboys leading the charge as the home team, the Jonas Brothers are solid Giants fans and intend to bring the energy their team represents on the event according to a Giants Wire article. They say,
“Although the Cowboys are the home team and therefor dominate the branding, the Jonas Brothers are not fans of Jerry Jones & Co. In fact, quite to the contrary, the three brothers are big fans of the New York Football Giants.
Kevin and Joe grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey, which is just about 20 miles away from MetLife Stadium. And while Nick was born in Dallas, he has stayed true to the Giants just like his brothers.”
The Jonas Brothers are joined by a long list of Red Kettle Kickoff performers which include Selena Gomez, Meghan Trainor, Destiny’s Child among others.
