New Park to Be Built in Frisco

A new park is planned to be built that will compete with the Dallas Cowboys training center, FC Dallas, etc., in promoting Frisco’s image according to a CBS-DFW article. They say,

“Frisco is already home to the Dallas Cowboys training center, FC Dallas and the PGA headquarters.

City leaders have announced plans to build something they believe could compete with all of those in boosting the Frisco image.

“A next level park,” said Executive Director of the Kaleidoscope Park Foundation, Scott Stewart. “What they are doing to really promote arts and culture as a destination as its own economy, that’s what this area of North Texas is really missing.””

The park is slated to open in 2023 and it aims to bring an innovative and green space in Frisco according to a Community Impact article. They say,

“A new community park slated to open in 2023 aims to bring an innovative and inclusive green space to Frisco.

Communities Foundation of Texas, a Dallas-based charity with a county office in Frisco, announced a new name and park foundation in September for Kaleidoscope Park, a 5.7-acre green space located near the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway and Warren Parkway at the Hall Park development in Frisco. Construction on Kaleidoscope Park started in fall 2021 as part of a $7 billion plan to redevelop Hall Park, Frisco’s first office park, over the next 20 years.”

City leaders say that the park will provide a new experiential green space that is engaging and inclusive.
