New Restaurant Lexy Opens in Trinity Groves

The first restaurant that opened under Trinity Groves’ new CEO Julian Rodarte is Lexy. It’s named after his wife, Alexa according to a Restaurant Hospitality article from August 11. They say,

“The first new opening under Rodarte’s direction is Lexy’s, which is slated to debut on Aug. 15. The restaurant is named after Julian’s wife, Alexa —Trinity Groves’ director of marketing — and is inspired by the couple’s travels to some of their favorite dining destinations and wine regions around the world, including Provence, the Amalfi Coast and Greece.”

“We wanted to bring some of these experiences back to Dallas,” Alexa told Restaurant Hospitality.”

Lexy’s menu will be overseen by Aubrey Murphy, Director of Culinary. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner according to a CultureMap Dallas article from July 27 which reports,

“Director of Culinary will be Aubrey Murphy, who previously worked at Knife Steakhouse with a menu of seafood, Texas Wagyu, and seasonal produce. Menu items include:

  • Wagyu Hot Rock
  • Avocado Toast with Tuna, which they’re calling a play on avocado toast
  • Crab & Lobster Cakes
  • Brisket Stuffed Avocado Croquettes
  • 32 oz. Tomahawk for two for “less than $99”
  • Texas Wagyu Steak Specials
  • Half Chicken
  • Shrimp Fried Rice
  • Whole Snapper, Tempura Fried and Pan Seared

Sides include Lexy’s Potatoes, seasonal Vegetable Harvest, and Lobster Mac & Cheese.

Desserts include Beignets, Tres Leches Bread Pudding, and Chocolate Heart with Chocolate Covered Strawberries.

Other dishes include sandwiches, flatbreads, soups, and salads.

Julian and Alexa would like to use the techniques they have learned from their travels to offer food with ingredients from the best sources.
