Blue Bell and Dr Pepper have collaborated to introduce a delectable ice cream flavor called Dr Pepper Float, according to a CBS News article which reports, 

“Blue Bell ice cream and Dr Pepper are teaming up. The brands announced they have come together to create a new ice cream flavor: Dr Pepper Float ice cream.

In a joint press release, the companies said Thursday that the new product consists of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream “swirled together with Dr Pepper flavored sherbet.” The new flavor is already available in all 23 states where Blue Bell is sold, the companies said.

“The best ice cream floats are made with Dr Pepper poured over a few scoops of Blue Bell,” said Jimmy Lawhorn, Blue Bell’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Why not put a spin on this popular treat and create our own version?”“

The ice cream is available in pints and half-gallons. Blue Bell’s vice president is excited about their unique take on this popular treat, according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say, 

“The ice cream, available in pints and half-gallons, hits the stores today. For Texans, it’s a dream marriage.

“The best ice cream floats are made with Dr Pepper poured over a few scoops of Blue Bell,” Jimmy Lawhorn, Blue Bell’s vice president for sales and marketing said in a statement. “Why not put a spin on this popular treat and create our own version?””

Some Twitter users shared pictures of store freezers stocked with Dr Pepper Float ice cream, while others expressed difficulty finding it. Blue Bell reassured customers that more deliveries are underway and the flavor will be available through 2024.
