Chick-fil-A Celebrates Milestone with 3,000th Restaurant in Dallas

Chick-fil-A’s 3,000th restaurant opens in southern Dallas, aiming to support the community in an underserved area, providing dine-in and takeout services from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m, according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say, 

“Chick-fil-A came to southern Dallas to open its 3,000th restaurant, and to celebrate it, the chain will be doing several things to help the community.

The restaurant’s new location opens Nov. 9, 2023, at 3502 W. Camp Wisdom Road, inside The Shops at RedBird shopping center. It will be open for dine-in, self-service and takeout from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The Red Bird neighborhood is one of the most underserved areas of D-FW, where Black and Hispanic populations are the majority. It’s considered an area of low food access, according to the USDA.”

Kyana Bascomb, Sr. Real Estate Manager, expresses excitement for Chick-fil-A’s milestone in RedBird, pledging support for the community’s revitalization through service events and donations, according to an Advocate article. They say, 

““We couldn’t imagine a better location for a milestone opening,” said Kyana Bascomb, Sr. Real Estate Manager of the Southwest Region for Chick-fil-A, Inc., in a statement. “Chick-fil-A is honored to play a small role in the exciting revitalization of the RedBird neighborhood, and we look forward to serving our guests as this community continues to grow and prosper.”

To commemorate the landmark opening, Chick-fil-A Inc. will host service events and give donations to benefit RedBird and Oak Cliff based organizations.”

Jacobs and Chick-fil-A staff will donate 3,000 backpacks to Harmony CDC Food Pantry and Boys & Girls Club, recognizing local heroes with free entrees at the RedBird location.
