CraftWay Kitchen: Fine Casual Dining in Frisco

CraftWay Kitchen in Frisco was opened by co-owners Mike Hutchinson and Troy Cooper who previously worked together at Rockfish Seafood Grill. They wanted to create an affordable yet elevated American dining experience, with Hutchinson as the chef and responsible for operations and the menu according to a Community Impact article. They say,

“Mike Hutchinson said when he and co-owner Troy Cooper opened CraftWay Kitchen in Frisco, they brought decades of industry experience to the table. They originally met years ago when they both worked for Rockfish Seafood Grill.

In 2019, when Cooper was the CEO of multiple restaurant chains including Rockfish and Hutchinson worked for Kenny’s Restaurant Group, they independently realized they were ready to take their career paths in different directions.

“We had the same idea for a concept and said let’s partner this thing up,” Hutchinson said. “Seven months later we opened CraftWay Kitchen.”

Utilizing their strengths, they have divided business responsibilities equally, Hutchinson said.”

CraftWay Kitchen’s menu offers delicious appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and more but their specialties are mainly on their starters and entrees which include:
