American Girl Dallas opens its doors at The Shops at Park Lane on Saturday, March 2, bringing dolls and delightful experiences for all, according to a Culture Map Dallas article. It reports, 

“A date has arrived for American Girl, the doll store-restaurant-salon chain, who will open American Girl Dallas, their newest location, at The Shops at Park Lane, at 8052 Park Ln., next to Nordstrom Rack and opposite HomeGoods.

According to a release, doors to the new experiential store will open on Saturday, March 2.”

Northwood Retail successfully lured American Girl away from the Galleria to The Shops at Park Lane, raising questions about the fate of the vacant two-level pink building, according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say, 

“Northwood Retail, which said in December that the Shops at Park Lane is for sale, won over the premium doll brand from the Galleria.

The northern Dallas mall hasn’t said what its plans are for the vacant two-level pink building located on the northwest corner of the property at Alpha Road and the Dallas North Tollway.”

The American Girl Cafe at the newly reimagined store in Dallas offers seatings for brunch, lunch, and teatime, along with private party rooms and a Berry Bar for sweet treats.
