Dave & Buster’s Says Goodbye

The company will be saying goodbye to its three decade long main office in Dallas for a new office space in Coppell according to a Dallas Morning News article from February 2 which reports,

“Restaurant and entertainment firm Dave & Buster’s is trading its longtime Dallas headquarters address for new digs in Coppell.

Dave & Buster’s has leased more than 67,000 square feet of office space in the Coppell Commerce Center on Belt Line Road northeast of DFW International Airport.

The company is moving from offices it has occupied for three decades in Northwest Dallas near Stemmons Freeway.

The new Coppell location previously housed operations of Vari LLC and comes fully furnished and move-in ready, according to Cushman & Wakefield’s Robbie Baty.

The new Coppell lease is one of the largest recent office transactions in the area near DFW Airport, including Cypress Waters and Las Colinas.”

Officials of Dave & Buster’s held that the decision to move out from their old office was predicated on the pandemic and that the team was out looking for greener pastures according to a D Magazine article from February 10. They say,

“The Dave & Buster’s team is very excited to relocate to a modern office that will reenergize our corporate team and match our fun culture,” said John Mulleady, senior vice president of development for Dave & Buster’s, in a statement. “The move is long overdue, and because the new location is in move-in ready condition, we are able to expedite our move.”

“The Dave & Buster’s team was looking for a fresh start coming out of the pandemic,” said Baty. “Their leadership team wanted a new location where they could consolidate from multiple floors into a single floor to enhance collaboration, and this building was the needle in a haystack.”

Dave and Buster’s has been operating way back in 1982 as it continuously offered its services not only in the US but also in Canada.
