Guy Fieri Samples Dallas Fare at Various Eateries

Chef Guy Fieri, known for his show ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,’ explores North Texas, featuring local restaurants since 2006. He engages with chefs, owners, and savors diverse menu items, according to a Fort Worth Star-Telegram article. It reports,

“Celebrity chef Guy Fieri has traveled across the country with his ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’ show, making several stops in North Texas along the way.

The Food Network show or as Fieri calls it – ‘Triple D’ – has been on television since 2006. In the show, Fieri visits restaurants chatting up chefs and owners, while also tasting items on the menu.”

Palmer’s in Dallas is featured on Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” though Fieri visited an identical spot in Georgia named Porch, both sharing the same décor and menu, according to a WFAA article. They report,

“On Friday, Guy Fieri and his Food Network show, “Diners Drive-ins and Dives,” will feature food from Palmer’s in Dallas…. kind of.

Fieri didn’t actually come to Palmer’s. He went to an identical spot in Georgia called Porch.

“Same exact restaurant just different names,” said Palmer Fortune, owner of both restaurants.

Both places have the same décor, theme and most importantly, both serve the same food.”

Before the “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” episode featuring Palmer’s, a watch party with food and fun is hosted at 6 p.m., expressing confidence in the food’s appeal.
