Half Price Books Reopens in Upper Arlington

Half Price Books is reopening in Upper Arlington at 1389 W. Lane Ave., beneath the Arlington Gateway lofts, with a grand opening on Friday, according to an NBC4i article. It says, 

“A used-book store is reopening at a new location in Upper Arlington.

Half Price Books is opening its newest spot at 1389 W. Lane Ave. with a grand opening on Friday, according to the company website. The bookstore will be located beneath the Arlington Gateway lofts.”

Half Price Books had a “soft opening” on Monday and officially opens Friday at 10 a.m. The community warmly welcomes its return, says district manager Chris Heuing, according to a Columbus Dispatch article. In it they say, 

“The store’s grand opening will be at 10 a.m. Friday, but it had a “soft opening” on Monday and has been open all week for customers to buy and sell books, store manager Brady Schaar said.

So far, the store’s return has been a “celebration” with the local community, district manager Chris Heuing said.

“We’ve come back from the ether and they’re really excited to have us back and to return to their community,” Heuing said.”

For its grand opening, Half Price Books offers a 20% discount on in-store purchases all weekend. The store sells used books, collectibles, textbooks, music, and movies.
