Henry’s Majestic Is Closing Temporarily Closing

Uptown Dallas’ go-to brunch and happy hour spot is closing down its location on McKinney Avenue according to a The Dallas Morning News article. They say,

“Since opening in 2014, Henry’s Majestic has been a go-to brunch and happy hour spot for the Uptown Dallas crowd, but the restaurant’s days are numbered — at least in its current location on McKinney Avenue.

The landlords of the building that houses Henry’s Majestic and its adjoining speakeasy concept Atwater Alley sold the property and will shutter the restaurant on Oct. 30, 2022, according to a press release.”

The restaurant’s co-owner, Andrew Popp, has stated that they plan on reopening the restaurant in another location according to an MSN article which reports,

““We hope that our customers will come by and dine one last time in this amazing space over the next few weeks,” said the restaurant’s co-owner Andrew Popp in a written statement.

The patio restaurant drew steady business with live music, build-your-own cocktails, pool tables and a speakeasy accessible through a secret entrance in the alley behind the restaurant.

Popp said they plan to reopen Henry’s Majestic in a new location, but they’re still searching for the right space around Dallas, however long that might take.”

Henry’s Majestic will continue to be under the Hughes family ownership, along with their other restaurant in Deep Ellum – Harlow MXM.
