Matthew McConaughey and Camila Unveil Pantalones Tequila Brand

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves strip down to launch Pantalones Tequila, sharing their love for margaritas and their 17-year journey together over the spirit, according to a Hola! article. They say, 

“Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves took their pants off for a good cause. The couple is launching a new brand of tequila called Pantalones Tequila, with the two fittingly leaving their pants at home for the shoot.

The two teased their collaboration on Instagram, with the two discussing their idea behind the name and their basic requirements for their company. “We met over Margaritas,” said Alves. “We’ve been drinking Margaritas together for the past 17 years.”

Married in 2012 with three kids, McConaughey and Alves humorously declare Pantalones Tequila as their best creation ‘with our pants on,’ sharing details on its production in Amatitan, Jalisco, according to a USA Today article. They say, 

“The couple, who were married in 2012 and have three children, joke in the Pantalones Instagram page that it’s “the best thing we’ve made with our pants on.”

The tequila is made at the certified organic distillery Tequilera Tap in Amatitan, Jalisco, where Tres Agaves tequila is also produced. The Reposado is aged 9 months, while the Añejo is aged 15 months.”

McConaughey and Alves playfully brainstorm the tequila brand’s name, settling on ‘Pantalones Tequila’ as a nod to their fun-filled moments together, revealed with humor in a billboard.
