Plano’s Pirate Dream Home for Sale

A Plano home on East Parker Road has gained attention for its unique design inspired by the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies. The property stands out and has captivated many, according to a WFAA article. They say,

“A Plano home currently on the market has gone viral — for obvious reasons.

The home at 2500 East Parker Road on the .7 acre lot at Jupiter and Parker has been turning heads because of its unique look inside and out.

“This is the most unique property that I’ve been a part of,” said realtor Ryan Ward.

The home is modeled after “The Black Pearl” ship from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies that starred Johnny Depp. WFAA spoke with retired interior designer Julz Farley who worked on the home back in 2013. “

The 3100-square-foot property is filled with pirate-themed décor inside and out, including nautical elements, skulls, and a Black Pearl-inspired diving plank. It’s a true haven for aspiring land pirates, according to an Audacy article which says,

“For those that say “the pirate life is the life for me,” a home in Plano may be offering the next best thing. The home, located along East Parker Road, is a 3100-square-foot property covered in pirate décor. According to NBC DFW, each room in the house features a nautical theme complete with wheels, maps, sails and more.

Even the outside of the house shows the previous homeowners love of pirates, as there are lanterns, skulls, gunports, and mooring ropes. There is also a skull and bones flag, and Black Pearl diving plank extending over the in-ground swimming pool. For anyone ready to live their days as a land pirate, this home may be just what they’re looking for.”

Since its recent listing, the Plano pirate-themed home has already attracted interest, with several showings. Priced at $650,000, the gated property offers seclusion, and realtor Ryan Ward believes it will find a buyer who appreciates its uniqueness or wants to customize it.
